I know a lot of things to be true. One thing that I know is true is global warning.
Global warning basically means that the earth is getting hotter. Every year it gets hotter
earlier and earlier in the year. The glaciers in the North and South Pole are all melting.
They are breaking off and floating and melting into water. This creates more water. Then
if there’s more water that mans that there has to be less land. I also know that global
warming is true because every it gets hotter. Summer two years ago was around 113
degrees. Last summer it was 115 degrees. It’s going to be hotter this year. This is bad for
our crops because they might get too much heat and die. It’s the same with our livestock.
They could suffocate under all that heat. That’s why I believe global warming to be true.

There are many things I need from my parents. One thing that I need from my parents is attention. There are sometimes when I feel that I need to talk to someone. If this happened then I could go and talk to my parents. I need to talk to them and tell them how I feel. They would be able to listen to me and help me about with any problems I have. When I feel bad I can tell them how I feel and they’ll listen to me. Everyone needs someone to listen to them and my parents are my listeners. Another thing that I need from my parents is love. Everyone needs someone to love them. If I ever feel bad or lonely, I know that my parents are there and they love me. They’re always there for me and can hug me and love me forever. Whenever you feel left out you know that your parents are there so they’ll always love you. That’s what I need from my parents.

Everyone in Mexico goes for their team. I sometimes wonder how soccer got to Mexico . It’s the most popular sport in Mexico but I don’t even know where it originated from or how it got to Mexico . Another thing I wonder about is if Mexicans added in any rules to the game. There are many rules in soccer and maybe some Mexicans added in some o the rules. I love to play the sport but don’t even know the history of it, so this is what I want to learn from my culture.

The Outsiders Group Project was a great experience for me. I’ve never interacted this much and had fun during it. This was so cool. We could be chatting and learning at the same time. My favorite experience is learning about Meebo. I also loved the experience of learning about chat because I never had chatted before in my life. My least favorite experience off this project was not being able to record with a microphone. Well I was recording but it wouldn’t record, we had some technical difficulties. I have learned that jobs that we will get in the future all involve thus type of work and this was a great experience to learn how the real world is. I wouldn’t change anything from the project because it went so well, except for the microphone part, I would’ve wanted to record my voice. This was great teamwork.

When I finished reading chapters 11 and 12 of the Outsiders the word that popped in my head was friendship. I think that friendship is shown in these chapters by them not fighting anymore at the end of the book. I know I already used this word but I think it fits better with these chapters. They all come back together from court. They end up staying together. They don’t get sepparated and don’t get prosecuted. They dropped the case. So then his friends also came over to his house and visited him. At the end of the book, Ponyboy and Darry chased Soda down and Soda said how he really felt. Then Ponyboy and Darry promised not to fight anymore. Their relationship was at its peak. They were like white on rice. That’s why I think Friendship is related to chapters 11 and 12.

When I finished reading chapters 9-10 of The Outsiders, the first word that popped in my head was survival. I think of this word because there is a lot of surviving. They have to survive through the rumble which was harsh. Ponyboy was hurt bad and so was the rest of the gang. They all also had to survive through the death of Johnny. That made veryone feel terrible, but they were also happy that he was being called a hero. They also had to suffer and survive through the death of Dally. He felt terrible after Johnny died and robbed a store and pointed a gun at a police and he got shot. Then Ponyboy had to survive through the concussion he got. He was asleep from Saturday night through Tuesday. He couldn’t go to school for that whole week. I call of this surviving. That’s why I chose the word surviving for chapters 9-10.

When I finished reading chapters 7 and 8 of the Outsiders, the first word that popped in my head is friendship. I think of friendship because they all stick together. They all rescued those kids and Johnny got burned. Then they took him and Ponyboy to the hospital. Ponyboy was alright but then Johnny was all burned. They went back home and Dally, Sodapop and Ponyboy were back together. Also the rest of the gang was back together. Then they went to visit Johnny at the hospital and talked to him. They helped him out by cheering him up. Then his mom came and they stood up for him and told her what she deserved to know. That is friendship because they all stand up for each other and always are together. They are stuck together like white on rice. That’s why I think of the word “Friendship” when I read chapters 7 and 8.

Now that I really, really think of it and have read the other groups answers I changed my answers.

1. I think that power is a force that people feel. You can’t touch power. I also think that power might be knowledge. If you have knowledge you know everything and your always on top of everyone. That’s good for you if your trying to get a job or doing something that gives you a jump start or ssomething like that. The people would like you and then hire you. That’s great for you.

2. Well, lets take the worker and friend being promoted as an example. Maybe the friend who wasn’t promoted feels bad because he never gets to talk to him anymore because he’s always in business trips. Then the worker might be all mad and jealous at him and not talk to him anymore. Then the one who got promoted might get mad at him and not want to talk to each other. That can really mess up a relationship.

3. It puts more pressure and stress on the person who is making the decision. It makes think more about their decision. They have to think about everyone who is going to be affected by this decison. It also might have a realy big impact on people if the person makes the wrong decision.

4. I guess that it just makes someone feel different. It makes them feel like their in control and can do anything they want, but they can’t. Power is just a force that to me is knowledge. That is what power is to me.

They were brave and went inside to rescue them. That is really being a hero. Anyone who saves any person out of any danger to me is considered a hero. That’s what they did and that’s why the word “hero” popped in my head.

It was his bravery that saved him and Ponyboy. They were also brave enough to flea and go to another city. I would’ve never have done that. They were both brave in doing what they did in chapters 3 and 4.
