When I finished reading chapters 11 and 12 of the Outsiders the word that popped in my head was friendship. I think that friendship is shown in these chapters by them not fighting anymore at the end of the book. I know I already used this word but I think it fits better with these chapters. They all come back together from court. They end up staying together. They don’t get sepparated and don’t get prosecuted. They dropped the case. So then his friends also came over to his house and visited him. At the end of the book, Ponyboy and Darry chased Soda down and Soda said how he really felt. Then Ponyboy and Darry promised not to fight anymore. Their relationship was at its peak. They were like white on rice. That’s why I think Friendship is related to chapters 11 and 12.
