When I finished reading chapters 7 and 8 of the Outsiders, the first word that popped in my head is friendship. I think of friendship because they all stick together. They all rescued those kids and Johnny got burned. Then they took him and Ponyboy to the hospital. Ponyboy was alright but then Johnny was all burned. They went back home and Dally, Sodapop and Ponyboy were back together. Also the rest of the gang was back together. Then they went to visit Johnny at the hospital and talked to him. They helped him out by cheering him up. Then his mom came and they stood up for him and told her what she deserved to know. That is friendship because they all stand up for each other and always are together. They are stuck together like white on rice. That’s why I think of the word “Friendship” when I read chapters 7 and 8.

Hi juan, I don’t think that friendship made a connection with the chapters. But the way that you described it on really made a lot of sense.
