When I finished reading 3 and 4 the first word that popped in my head was brave. Johnny and Ponyboy were brave enough fight of those guys. Ponyboy was also brave enough to run away from home. Johnny was brave enough to stab Bob who was drowning Ponyboy. If Johnny wouldn’t have stabbed Bob, they both would’ve been dead. It was his bravery that saved him and Ponyboy. They were also brave enough to flea and go to another city. I would’ve never have done that. They were both brave in doing what they did in chapters 3 and 4.

I agree, the word “brave” is for this chaper. I read the book, The outsiders and I really think its a good book. If I was in a situation like that, I would have did the samething for my bestfriend.
